MSc – Program Overview


The cutting-edge curriculum of the Master of Science program offers an excellent and contemporising education with a choice of concentrations.  it is designed for working professionals from a wide range of backgrounds who wish to advance or enhance their hospitality & tourism business careers with a flexible timing of schedule.

In addition to the core courses, the program includes three main concentrations; Operations & Revenue Management, Marketing Services & Entrepreneurship, Real Estate & Finance.

Operations & Revenue Management

It is designed to prepare you for a career in operations and revenue management.  The career track is broad and offers you a large degree of flexibility in selecting courses to fit the concentration requirements.  Selecting this specialistion, the student will develop constructive and sharp operation reasoning, critical thinking as well as problem solving skills to successfully address the current and future changes in the industry.

Your concentration consists of 15 credits.  9 credits are courses that are mandatory, 6 credits are courses of your own choice within your concentration.  Courses offered are the following:

  • Advanced Hospitality & Management Operations – Mandatory
  • Advanced Yield & Revenue Management – Mandatory
  • Product & Pricing Management – Mandatory
  • Restaurant Entrepreneurship – Elective
  • Catering & Special Events Management – Elective
  • Restaurant Development – Elective
  • Hotel & Resort Development & Management – Elective
  • Airline Service & Management – Elective

Marketing Services

Your concentration consists of 15 credits.  9 credits are courses that are mandatory, 6 credits are courses of your own choice within your concentration.  Courses offered are the following:

  • Strategic Management – Mandatory
  • Services Marketing & Customer experience Management – Mandatory
  • Strategic Sales Management – Mandatory
  • PR Management & Corporate Communication – Elective
  • Brand Management – Elective
  • Consumer Behaviour – Elective
  • Project Management – Elective
  • Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) – concentration on Advertising – Elective
  • E-Commerce & Social Media development – Elective
